Automated spammers are programs that look for forms like this on the internet and send advertisements to them. I don't know what they expect to get from this, since the form mails only go to Webmasters and others who are usually knowledgeable about where they come from (thieves).

We have been getting many of these each day, and asking you to enter the words gives us some slight assurance that at least a human is filling in the form. 

If you don't do this, the "Submit" button will remain greyed out and you won't be able to send the message.
